Beach Talk - All (3) Finnish clothing optional beaches added to the list.

I figured I should add these on the list to let foreigners know that there are at least a few outdoor public places to go au naturel in Finland without a fear of getting fined.

I won't promise you won't be looked funny, though.

For a nation that more or less invented the sauna, it might seem weird that there's hardly any nudist beaches around...?

The biggest reason is probably the fact that most Finnish families own a summer cottage by a lake. Hordes of people still spend a good portion of their summer vacation - if not all of it - around water getting hammered and nakid like it's the law.

And when they finally return to civilization, they're just as uncomfortable baring all in the public as the rest of us. Clearly, sauna nudity does not repel modesty all that much.

It probably makes it even worse. There, another myth busted, folks!

Thanks! I've activated all three and even found a couple of photos to attach to the beaches. One of these days I need to go through the list to find the northern most nude beach on the planet.
