From the V&A waterfront the first landmark you encounter is the Green Point lighthouse, Mouille Point and Three Anchor Bay. Further, along you will find Sea Point, which offers small patches of sand and a tidal pool at Saunders Rocks. Although not good for sunbathing or swimming, the Promenade at Sea Point offers a long walkway right next to the ocean. Often you find joggers, dog walkers, and families enjoying the evening sun here. If you find yourself in Cape Town between the hours of 16:00 and 17:30 this is the ideal place to wait for the traffic to subside.
